I’ve been preparing some new screens to make some silk screen printed fabrics for the next collections. I want the screes to be re-usable as long as possible, som it’s a long process.
First I’ve cut the wooden frames from an abandonded art piece, glued and nailed the together.
Then the synthetic “silk” is stapled on.
Then the fabric is protected with some scotch before the frames are varnished so that they become water repellant.
And so for a layer of duct tape to make them even more water proof and resistant.
And now I have four new frames to work with!
